Children’s Ministry shares the Love of Christ on Valentines The Children’s Ministry of COTR created about 80 handmade Valentines cards recently. Our Children’s Directors, Charlene Owens and Angela Becker, then delivered those cards to My Sisters House, the Basset Center, and the pediatric floor of Nash General to be given to other children…. Those who received them were thrilled to know that others were thinking of them on this day… thanks for sharing the love of Christ!
Going after God’s Best… is worth having your toes stepped on! This past Sunday, I began a new series about going after God’s best…. I warned early on that I might step on some toes in this one in an effort to make us reflective on wether or not we are living in God’s Best. Many confirmed after service that they had experienced significant toe pain during the morning worship! They also said that it did help motivate them to be open to changes during this series… Lets don’t sell God short, let’s go forward into His perfect will in all things this year. Second UNFILTERED Saturday Night Preview Service is coming on March 1st We will have our next Preview service for our Saturday Night Worship Venue one week from this coming Saturday…. This Corporate Worship Venue has fellowship/coffee at 7:00pm followed by Worship and Teaching…. It is an alternative to Sunday mornings where the atmosphere is a little more casual and interactive… CHECK IT OUT!
A Night at the Museum: Targeting people with the Easter Message Can you believe that Easter is less than 5 weeks away! It is VERY early this year on March 23rd…. we will celebrate by turning our campus into a museum on Friday- Sunday nights and having Easter Worship on resurrection Sunday at 8:00am and 10:20am…. Many have signed up to help, we will be contacting you in very near future, but start spreading the word RIGHT NOW! We hope to have promotional materials to you this Sunday. Pastor Richard
