The Focus on 5 Vision is born!
This past Sunday, we celebrated our church Anniversary…. First, a special thanks everyone who contributed the COTR Staff Love Offering. Your generosity is greatly appreciated by everyone on the team. Our main focus was introducing our vision for 2009. During this time we will ask everyone to 5 things: Attend corporate worship, serve in Gods kingdom, attend an encounter, join a small group, and have a daily devotion. The spiritual fruits of that are worship, freedom, relationships, devotion to Christ, and servanthood. We will talk more about this in the upcoming services, and how this creates an atmosphere of discipleship.
COTR Schedule this week:
There is no Wednesday Connection meeting this week because of Thanksgiving being on the following day…. The church offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday in observance of Thanksgiving… We will have our normal schedule this coming weekend for our corporate worship, Saturday Night UNFILTERED worship at 6:30 and Sunday Celebration at 10:20am. We hope you have a great Thanksgiving, and we hope to see you this coming weekend.
“The First Leon” is coming!
Our children’s Christmas production, “The First Leon” will take place Sunday morning December 14th, Come out and support Pastor Larissa and her kids and they share the true meaning of Christmas. Don’t forget, everyone is invited to Unfiltered worship on Saturday December 13th, especially parents who will have kids here for a dress rehearsal.
As we prepare to begin the new year, Lisa and I are so thankful that God has called us to such an incredible group of people. We pray for you daily, and appreciate your commitment to Christ. I believe this year will mark a new place of corporate and personal maturity for the COTR family.
